How it works

Answer. Qualify. Book. Brief.

We answer your calls and texts, qualify the job, and book it on your calendar.

Tally is an AI assistant. It says so at the start of every call and asks before recording.

9:04 p.m.: the desk phone rings and Tally, Tallbell's bell mascot, picks up the green handset, saying Hi, this is Tally.
Four steps

From ring to briefing.

1

We answer

Calls, texts and web forms get a reply day or night, usually in under a minute. Missed calls get a text back.

2

We ask your questions

Only the ones you approve: what, where, how urgent. Real emergencies go straight to your on-call person.

3

We book it

Good-fit jobs go onto your calendar, using your hours, rules and service area.

4

You get the briefing

Who, what, where and when, plus the recording, by text or email. The lead lands in your CRM.

Any caller can ask for a person at any time: a transfer if someone is free, or a callback.

The booked job

Missed at 9:04. Booked by 9:06.

About a minute after the call, the job lands on your phone. Same sender, same sign-off, every time.

The Monday report

Tally keeps the tally.

Every Monday you get five numbers in plain words. If they aren't better, the report says so.

  • Leads: new inquiries this week
  • Booked: appointments on your calendar
  • Response time: median time to first real reply
  • Cost per booked appointment
  • Close rate or revenue: from your numbers, if you share them
Guardrails

You approve every word.

You approve every script in writing before go-live.

It answers only from information you've approved. It never diagnoses, quotes a firm price (unless you give us a price list) or promises timing. When it's unsure, it takes a message or passes the caller to your team.

Every call opens by saying it's an AI assistant and asking if recording is OK. If the caller says no, the call isn't recorded and they get a callback instead.
